DEBBI

Debbi moved down south back in 1980 where she started her training at central Sussex college, in which she won the southern region NHF competition and then competed at the national final in Blackpool. After a year she left college and finished her training at Jingles in WC2, where she regularly assisted her boss on photoshoots for magazine editorials. For the next five years Debbi worked in a busy south London salon before becoming a freelance stylist in 1987. In 1989 Debbi moved to Sawtry where she married her husband Stuart and had her 2 daughters. Debbi went on to work in local salon Mobly's in Huntingdon,  after returning to London to update her skills at the Toni & Guy academy.

In 2007 Debbi started her own business and opened Salon 42.

KELLIE

Kellie joined the salon 42 team back in 2007 where she completed her apprenticeship and gained her level 2 in hairdressing. With the ability to make people feel better about themselves Kellie thrives off complete  restyles, her favourite bit is cutting lots of hair off!! Since being with us Kellie has built a solid clientele. Getting to know each and everyone one of her clients on a personal level allows Kellie to make a cocktail of colours custom to each one of them. After having 2 beautiful little girls, Kellie is back with us at the salon part time.

MICHELLE

Michelle completed her apprenticeship at Clipso salon in Covent Garden London, where she stayed for a successful 9 years before relocating to South Africa. She then spent 4 years working in a busy Johannesburg salon before operating from her own salon. 8 years later Michelle and family moved back to the UK where she became a freelance stylist, before joining us at salon 42 part time. Outside of work Michelle has her hands full! With a husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, 4 lizards and 8 fish, she counts herself lucky that her passion is also her job. Her mother was a successful salon owner back in the 1960's so its in her blood! Michelle's strengths include foil work, technical cutting and gents.

POPPY

Having started out helping her mum on the weekends (yes! she is the bosses daughter..) Poppy went on to do her apprenticeship in both Hair and Beauty whilst working at Salon 42. towards the end of her training she came to realise that hairdressing was her passion and decided to focus all her energy on that. From then on Poppy has been splitting her time between working here at salon 42 and travelling the world! Poppy has recently returned from Australia, having worked for one of Melbourne's most luxurious salons where she was mentored in new colouring and styling techniques. Poppy's strength in the salon is colouring, specialising in balayage and bleaching.

Natasha

"Hey I'm Tash... I joined the team at Salon 42 in 2021 as a salon assistant. I really enjoy my role of welcoming our clients and getting to know them personally whilst remaining professional in such a busy environment. You'll se me around the salon assisting the stylists, managing reception, offering drinks whilst cleaning (lots) too! Outside of work I enjoy family time with my partner Rhys, daughter Alesha & my 2 cats"
